It's time to submit your music videos! All music videos are due by 11:59 p.m. CST on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. FREE to enter! Crossroads Film Festival's 2012 Music Video Showcase The Music Video Showcase is back! If you are a musician or a filmmaker in or near Mississippi (including Memphis, New Orleans, Mobile, Birmingham...), we need your videos! Submission is totally FREE. All we ask is that we receive them (formats listed below) by 11:59 p.m. on February 1. So, read the "fine print" below and get ready for a showdown! THE FINE PRINT OUR BORDERS: The Crossroads Film Festival is so named because of Jackson's location at the "Crossroads" of the South. Once again in 2012, we're extending our range... to Birmingham, Memphis, New Orleans, Mobile... If you can drive to Jackson in 3 hours, you can submit a video! (See map) FREE TICKETS: Each music video *selected for Festival inclusion* by our screening committee will receive tickets to the Music Video Showcase -- one ticket for the director and one ticket for each member of the band. Crossroads will also offer bands a 15% discount on All-Access VIP passes to attend the full Festival (including workshops, films, after-parties...). DEADLINE & FEES: All music videos must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. CST on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. FREE to enter. Please submit a separate entry form for each video. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: 1. One (1) QuickTime on a DVD-R in the native format (codec) in which the video was edited (DV25, apple pro-rez, Avid DNXHD, etc. (or uncompressed)) OR B. One (1) copy of your video in any of the following formats: DigiBeta BetaSP DVCam DV MiniDV DVCPro DVCProHD Note: DVD or VHS are NOT accepted as screening media formats at the Festival. 4.
